Latest McClellan Demolition Project Underway

Work has already begun on the MDA’s latest demolition project that will include the removal of 29 buildings along with various old foundations and other concrete structures. Holmes II Excavation, out of Munford, Alabama, is leading the effort on this latest round of demolition activities. Demolition will take place at four separate sites on McClellan including the McClellan Industrial Park, Town Center District, the former Engineering Headquarters area, and a future retail/commercial site north of Lowes along Highway 21. This $340,000 demolition project is just part of several ongoing property improvement efforts designed to attract new businesses to the area.
