The Buckner Center Buckner Center offers a 250-seat theatre, an exhibit hall/conference center, arts studio/workshops and a variety of meeting and event spaces for your grand event. Three separate buildings, linked by an arcade of arches facing the ceremonial parade ground, compose the 32,000 square foot triad of concrete and masonry structures built in 1936 and has been newly renovated. Chief Ladiga Trail The Chief Ladiga Trail is Alabama's first extended rails-to-trails project. It wanders some 33 miles through the countryside of Calhoun and Cleburne counties and connects the municipalities of Piedmont, Jacksonville, Weaver, and Anniston. Seen along the way are beautiful wetlands, streams, forests, farmland, and a horizon filled with mountains.
